Fire north of Willits scorches 175 acres
A brush and grass fire 175 acres north of Willits was fought by 128 ground personnel and 31 pieces of equipment along with four air tankers. The cause was unknown and no structures were damaged. The blaze followed another 130 acre fire near Canyon Road the previous day.
