Merle Joe Christenson of Ukiah was reported in good condition today at Howard Memorial Hospital after losing control of his car on Highway 101 south of Willits. The southbound vehicle skidded into the northbound lane and into trees. Christenson, 33, was hospitalized and his car declared a total wreck by highway patrol.
