A Ukiah woman identified as Marion Henry Appleby, 51, drowned yesterday around 1 05 p m after falling or being swept into the sea while rock fishing near the Albion River. Her husband James Appleby and companions aided, but waves washed them apart. the body was recovered and attempts at revival failed. Coroner’s office investigators and services are pending.
