The Daily Journal corrects its report that fringe benefits in a proposed pay plan for fiscal year starting July 1 1971 were approved. The plan included pay raises for resident deputy sheriffs and various POST certificate bonuses, a uniform allowance, shift differentials, tool allowances, and a nurse standby rate. a suggestion award system and a $10 per night standby for surgery nurses were also approved for consideration within 180 days.
