Last North Ukiah Little League calls all boys in the Ukiah Valley area including Redwood Valley and Calpella to try out for North Ukiah and Coast League baseball this summer. In Long Beach California Cynthia Potter a University of Indiana freshman became the first to win two events at the National AAU Swimming and Diving Championships. She scored 57.72 on her final dive for 447.51 points to win the women s three meter springboard. Jerrie Adair of San Fernando Valley Athletic Club finished second with 444.63. Milena Duchkova of Czechoslovakia was fourth with 412.44. Potter also won the one meter springboard the previous night.
