Obituary of John T Isett of Sinking Valley
John T Isett died at his home in Sinking Valley on Saturday afternoon after a short typhoid illness. Aged 80 years six months and days, he was born March 11 1824 and lived his life in Sinking Valley. He married Mary Robison in 1836 and Elizabeth Walter in 1857, with eight children from the first union and one grandchild plus twelve great grandchildren. Survivors include Mrs R A Fleck and David W Isett and Mrs John McMillen. Services were at his home Monday morning and burial followed at Birmingham Baptist graveyard.
