Pioneer bust program at Chapman University honors donors
Beginning in 1994, about 25 presidents activists and leaders are commemorated with busts. Donors fund the busts as endowed faculty chairs chosen to reflect their field. Chapman says quotes on busts inspire students. Tustin backing could cover $10,000 for the bust and $5,000 for pedestal maintenance. Busts would be placed on public sidewalks parks and accessible areas.
