Large family day care approved in Tustin raises limit to 14
In Tustin a home day care run by Dorkis Hernandez on Laurie Lane was approved to increase capacity from eight to 14 children. The decision, made by the Planning Commission on June 14, was appealed by Councilwoman Deborah Gavello over concerns about traffic and noise. Community support included five letters, while four opposed notices were submitted before the hearing.
