Four Drivers Found Guilty in DUI Cases
Four drivers were found guilty on DUI charges. Jack Halliburton, 44, fined 75 dollars and 15 days in jail after reckless driving on West Alameda. Harold C. Laker, at Linger Longer trailer court, fined 100 dollars and 15 days in county jail for erratic driving. John V. Swanick, 23, and Victor A. Surdez, 53, each received 15 days with fines of 75 and 100 dollars respectively. Surdez also injured others in a May crash with a stop sign violation.
