Dust storm alert system begins operation in Arizona
A new 692000 system to warn motorists of possible dust storms has gone into operation in southern Arizona. Forty changeable signs along 81 miles of Interstates 10 and 40 can be updated by radio to read Gusty Winds Use Caution or Blowing Dust Reduce Speed as visibility changes occur.
