Isle of Man Miser Leaves Millions to Friends and Charity

Ellen Cubbin, an 80 year old recluse known as a miser, died leaving 850000 pounds. Bequests include 40000 to nurse Jimima Campbell, four houses, a small castle, 100000 for lifeboats and fire engine, 800000 for a yacht owner, and a Liverpool mansion with 80000 to a holiday home for children plus 224000. Rest to friends and many charities. All gifts honor her late son Robert Colby Cubbin.
