New Gallery Opens in Tubac at Century-Old Schoolhouse
The Santa Cruz Valley Art Association unveils a new Tubac gallery in a historic schoolhouse showing works by its nationally known members. Watercolors by Dale Boatman Susi Hasselbarth Stanford Stevens. airs by Sid Cedargreen John Chevalier Rose Murray Mortimer and Jean Wilson. pastels by Hart Reed Williams and sand castings by Varl Hasselbarth. Open daily noon to 4 pm for another week, then a Sunday Painters exhibit follows. Tubac lies 45 miles south of Tucson on the Nogales Highway and is a state historical monument.
