Interior announces Lower Colorado River land use leases

Secretary Udall said two leases are signed and three more are in negotiation for riverbank recreation along 265 miles of the Lower Colorado. Leases with California Beaches and Parks at Picacho and Needles, Calif, and Mohave County Arizona areas are in place or pending.

Sundt Submits Low Bid for Butterfield Route Section

M. M. Sundt Construction Co. offered the apparent low bid of 36218.76 for the first stage of the Butterfield Route, a 1000-foot four-lane link between Freeway and West McCormick Street. The bid will be reviewed by the city engineer before contract award.
