Five Die When Car Hits Bridge Rail In Colorado
Five people were killed late Wednesday night thirty miles south of Pueblo when their car struck a bridge railing and was demolished. The deceased include Leo C. DePeal of Los Alamos New Mexico and his wife, Mrs. Demoret of Trinidad Colorado with her two children Donald aged two and Sharron Lynn age eleven months. Mrs. Demoret was taken to Corwin hospital in Pueblo and the children to Walsenburg hospital. Patrolmen said the DePeals likely died instantly and noted the wreck occurred near Pueblo.
