Goodwin vows to block university funding over ASU extra
Arizona House Appropriations Chairman Thomas Goodwin threatened to withhold or stall the university capital outlay for next year unless ASU withdraws its demand for an additional 500000 dollars. He said he would not sign the committee report or allow the caucus to move the main bill until Rep West and Rep Lindeman drop the extra ASU funds. The debate centers on allocations for ASU UA and NAU with ASU advocating equal increases for all three schools.
