Explorers Return from Rugged Chihuahua Jeep Trek to Besaceachic Falls
Tucson aviation mechanic Lynn Hodgson recently led a two man expedition into Chihuahua via Malachic and Huajumar roads described as the worst mine road in the world. The trip to La Cascada de Besaceachic included pack mules and relentless fleas as they camped near the waterfall during the dry season. Hodgson hoped to capture new color photos for Arizona Highways and shared vivid tales of the journey.
