Finns to send children home after lost mother
Lars Lohman, who lost his wife last September after she gave birth to their eighth child, arranged for the children to be sent back to Finland. The Lohman family, long resident since 544 years in the country, had Lohman working at a paper plant and planning a 120 acre farm. He could not both care for the youngsters and keep the job. Flight arrangements took eight months, with the children to fly via Minneapolis and New York to Helsinki Friday, while Lohman will follow later.
