Drachman Urges Plan to Save City From Decay
Roy Drachman told Tucson Rotary members that American cities are grim and unplanned after 130 years of unchecked growth. He urged zoning, city planning, redevelopment acts, and urban centers as the new Main Street to transform Tucson into a better, bigger city with vibrant shopping centers and improved living. He predicted Tucson's population will more than double and urged support for Tucson Regional Plan Inc. to guide growth.
