Canyon tour rule suspension sought
Six river tour companies from Utah Arizona and California ask a federal court to suspend the National Park Service limit on Grand Canyon boat patrons and to strike down the motor ban. They say limits reduce access and favor paddlers while the Interior Department cites environmental protection and lower actual use days in 1972. The suit names Interior Secretary Rogers Morton the Park Service and officials as defendants.
