Disappearance of Leesa Shaner Stumps Arizona FBI
Local FBI agents persist in the top priority case of Leesa Jo Shaner missing since May 29. The 22-year-old daughter of a veteran agent vanished after leaving her home for Tucson International Airport to meet her husband returning from overseas. An unlocked car with missing keys, a purse left behind, and conflicting tips drive investigators to pursue abduction theories and suspect lists while urging anyone with information to come forward.

County Jail inmates seek court relief over alleged inhumane conditions
A group of 24 inmates at the County Jail filed petitions in County Superior Court through attorney Richard Van Duizend alleging inhumane treatment and unlawful searches and seizures. They claim lack of toothbrushes and delousing, no mattresses leading to bedsores, limited funds hindering basic supplies, insufficient food, a recent forceful food strike, restricted media access, and delayed or denied phone calls. The inmates request a state Supreme Court judge show cause for release or a court visit to interview A-Tank prisoners following a May 20 jail crackdown.
