Two Die In Crash On Nogales Highway
A Papago couple from Topawa, Joseph Martin Garcia 21 and Dolores Martinez Garcia about 30, died in a high speed crash on Nogales Highway 11 miles south of Tucson at 3 25 am. The Garcia youth was killed instantly and his wife died en route to hospital. Louis Martinez 14 survived in extremely critical condition after multiple injuries and long surgery. Nicolas I Bowen 35 driver of the second car and two teens Walker Westerfield 17 and Leon White 17 were treated for injuries. Bowen faces a bogus check charge and had been paroled in March.
