Utah Forges New Link In Radio Patrol
In Salt Lake City the Utah Highway Patrol advances its radio network with a new Abajo Peak repeater near Monticello to close remaining blind spots. The system already includes Scott's Peak in the Wasatch and 21 base stations with 380 mobile units. The network serves 105 patrol cars and county sheriffs, aiding civil defense and remote communication across Utah.
