Versailles Hosts Kennedy State Visit Night of French Grandeur
President De Gaulle hosted a Versailles dinner for the Kennedys with 75 guests in the Hall of Mirrors, followed by a 500-person theater gala. Mrs. Kennedy wore a Givenchy gown and European styling, and Maria Tallchief danced in a three act ballet. The visit included a Louvre/Malmaison schedule and departs for Vienna tomorrow.
