Waltuch Wins Jury Trial Transfer To Justice Court

Waltuch, who sought a jury trial on a misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen property, will have a jury trial in Justice Court before Justice of the Peace Alice Truman on July 17. The case was moved after city magistrates disqualified themselves. Waltuch, of 1501 Niagara St., had sought relief in Superior Court via writ of prohibition to keep City Court from trying him without a jury. He is accused of receiving a radio knowing it was stolen. Atty. Joe Soble represents him.
