Merchants Elect Barber as Casas Adobes Leader
Casa Adobes resident Thomas H. Blakeman owner of the Casa Adobes Barber Shop was elected president of the Casas Adobes Merchants Association succeeding Kenneth Eckles. Harold Jente and Robert Matthews were named vice president and secretary treasurer with new directors A L Vanderhoof and A L Smith. Retiring members include Fred Harvey Louis Fuhn and Miss Pearl King. Edward Thompson owner of Babys Valet was elected to the National Institute of Diaper Services board and will chair the western region with eight states, taking office at the June 11 12 meeting in New York City.
