Derelict Renfroe dies. $13,000 settlement never reached
Arky Renfroe 63, a Skid Row resident, died Sept 9 at USC Medical Center from bronchial pneumonia after a failed delivery of a $13,000 Medi-Cal settlement. Attorney Morantz failed to locate him due to a hospital computer mix up and a misnamed entry. The $300,000 settlement from civil suits against nursing homes was never delivered.
