Indictment of 26 in international heroin cocaine ring
A federal grand jury indicted 26 suspects in a heroin and cocaine smuggling operation spanning two countries and 11 states. Seventeen were arrested, five in custody, four at large, with bonds set from 5000 to 150000. The case links Nogales meetings in October 1973 to a year-long undercover narcotics operation.
