Mexican leader's sister urged to help prisoner son
Allan MacDonald and his father seek help from Margarita Lopez Portillo, sister of Mexico's president, to secure release of Allan held in Guadalajara State Penitentiary. They contend he did not know the car carried marijuana and has ongoing seizures possibly due to a brain tumor. A Mesa doctor notified U.S. officials of his medical problems and seizures began after a 1976 head injury.
