The Federal Energy Administration lifted a 14 month freeze on domestic crude oil prices. Officials said the move will have little effect on consumer prices for petroleum products. The agency estimated gasoline prices would rise at most two tenths of a cent per gallon.
Terry Max Mikels, 20, was sentenced by Superior Court Judge William E. Drake to five years and one month in prison after a jury convicted him of one count of sodomy for sexually assaulting a cellmate. He claimed innocence and testified. four co-defendants had already pled guilty and been sentenced.
