Pima College awards poll contract to MLR West Marketing
The Pima Community College Board of Governors awarded a 28500 dollar contract to MLR West Marketing Research Inc to survey community opinion about the college. The Tucson firm was chosen after interviews by a subcommittee and will now ask general questions on academic philosophy and satellite campuses rather than a 100000 person East side campus poll. The board did not set questionnaire guidelines or a completion date, and sought to delay until political tensions eased amid recent board divisions. In a separate action the board also approved an 83780 dollar contract with Walsh Bros Office Equipment to supply the downtown campus Alternative Learning Resource Center.
