TG&E cuts costs and delays rate hike via study

A $30,000 audit by Theodore Barry & Associates for TG&E shows substantial savings and delayed rate increases. The company reduced expenses by over $5 million annually, saved $10 million by switching to natural gas, trimmed staff by 244, and shortened fuel oil reserves to eight days.
