Richest gold strike reported at Nogal in New Mexico
In Capitán New Mexico May 13 a vein ten inches wide in the American mine at Nogal yields exceptionally rich ore. Experts estimate at least 100000 dollars of gold per ton and guards are stationed at the shaft to prevent looting. The fissure lead shows no sign of diminishing and the mine, once idle, was recently purchased by the American Gold Mining company.
