Also includes anecdotes about dogs in a polar or expedition setting, a Boston charity event, and an ordinance granting a franchise for electric and gas supply in Tucson with conditions on poles, mains, and restoration.
The ordinance grants Joseph J. Henry and assigns an electric lighting franchise in Tucson with terms on safety, liability, meter rights, and the right to cut service for nonpayment. It requires a 6000 lamp plant within nine months, maintenance of a modern plant, 25 year use of poles for fire alarm wires, and rates not to exceed twenty cents per thousand watts. The ordinance revokes prior franchises and takes effect upon publication.

Mi MAGETOArY and mentions coupons, amounts from 2.00 to 20.00, and a note that fifty-one more were not sent to pay the remaining 60.50 dollars.
