In February 1899, W P Brown of Hollands South Carolina reports a small lump on the lower lip that was cauterized, reappeared as an open sore, and healed after seven bottles of 8.8. S. with no recurrence, noting no signs of the disease since.
The Standard Rock Oil company directors met in San Francisco California on July 23 1902 and set a stockholders meeting for August 4 1902 to consider increasing capital from 300000 to 500000 dollars and issued ten day notice in the Daily Bulletin The August meeting resulted in 176794 shares voting in favor with more than two thirds of total stock, increasing capital to 500000 dollars. R A Falkenberg president and M J Henley secretary certified the proceedings. Notary public R B Treat certified the execution August 13 1902.
