A young woman faced a ferocious python attack when the creature encircled her during an encounter. She managed to break free after a brief struggle and avoid serious injury. Local authorities investigated the incident and advised caution around wild animals in the area.

Chancellor E Benjamin Andrews of the University of Nebraska told University of Chicago students on the Day After that raw beef eggs or oysters are better than bracers to restore vitality. He argued bracers provide no new blood while raw foods supply it, and the audience applauded.
Mrs. Jacob H. Stuckey of Martinsburg died after a fifteen month decline in which her skin darkened from yellow to coal black. Doctors diagnosed Addison's disease, an incurable ailment, as the cause.

In Uniontown Pennsylvania a woman named Mrs Murray, while her husband Winsoow Murray was away, burned the house and barn with their contents and fled with their two children into the mountains. The father returned and rescued the children from the flames just as the mother planned to burn them. She claimed to have received a message from God directing the sacrifice. The children are now safe and she is under close watch.
