Hang-glide ace flies over Fuji peak

Australian hang-glider champion Bill Flewellyn aged 34 soared above Mt Fuji Japan the highest peak. He wore a helmet and used a parachute and oxygen inhaler. Flewellyn released from a 66 foot balloon piloted by Ron Taafee of Britain reaching 14 750 feet after 28 minutes.

Faubus to get pacemaker surgery in Arkansas

Former Arkansas Governor Orval E. Faubus, 67, remains hospitalized in Little Rock at Baptist Medical Center in the coronary care unit with heart palpitations. A temporary pace maker has already been implanted and surgery for a permanent device has been ordered.
