Market Spot blends junk food with health fare in Tucson market
At Market Spot near the University of Arizona, owner Michael Fisher markets an experimental grocery store mixing all natural granola and cookies with junk foods like cupcakes and pies. The cafe offers fresh juices and ready to heat meals while Fisher pursues a health food philosophy in a shop once run by Haraldson and tied to Food for Health Distributors. A Chihuahua mix named Blackjack will be up for adoption at the Humane Society tomorrow.
