FRANKFORT Ky April 23 Berry Howard the alleged principal in the assassination of Governor Goebel was acquitted today.

Harris had previously been expelled from Colorado City by Wolverton who allegedly had been threatened by Harris. Bertha A. Little of the Merton Smith evangelistic party arrived in Tucson and stayed with the Fuller family at 215 North Bird Street.
Ming Bird, Kiowa, living near Anadarko in the Oklahoma country, killed his squaw wife for unfaithfulness. He tied her, suspended her 40 feet up a cottonwood, where she hung for three days. Found by hunters and Bird arrested, he claims it is the old fashioned Indian way.

Manila April 25 Major Waller and Lieutenant Day of the Marine Corps were tried by court martial here on a charge of executing natives of Samar without trial and have been acquitted.
