Bloodmobile visit planned for Ovid June 17
Regional Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the Ovid Municipal Building next Tuesday June 17 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. coordinator Veronica Maher reports strong donor pre registration and a goal of one hundred pints with many volunteers from Romulus Interlaken Lodi Hoyts Corners Willard and area organizations aiding the drive.

Trumansburg District Holds Budget Hearing and Board Vote
The Trumansburg Central School District holds an annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the High School Auditorium to explain the coming year's budget and approve two buses and BOCES space for three Special Education classes. Elections will fill three Board seats with petitions due by June 24. next year's budget is projected around 2.11 million with a 6 percent increase and a targeted tax rise not exceeding 10 percent.

Supervisor Lawrence Wilkins reported five cemeteries cleaned and moved by town crew with help from students Jim Vangalio Wendell Moore and Garry Troutman. Red Cross Swimming program approved for Town Beach at Sheldrake. May records show no births or deaths and no transcripts. financials show on hand 16134.07 and expenditures 15323.36. Licenses issued include 1 Resident hunting and fishing 65 resident fishing 14 Non resident fishing 1 non resident 6 doy fishing 1 dog 3 marriage.
