An advertisement from C. H. Rowan Drug CoDept 1389 Chicago offers a free 500 pack age of a remedy claimed to cure bed wetting and frequent urination in all ages. It urges readers to request the medicine by mail and share the cure with family and neighbors.
Receipts show balance distributions and approved reports in estates of Rudolph Babbe and W D Parr. Final reports approve administration and discharge executors. Various heirs, trustees, and executors receive specified fractional interests in Alhambra, Nomeoki, and other townships with sums ranging from hundreds to thirteen thousand dollars.
List of numerous parcel transactions across Alton Collinsville and adjacent townships including Hunter's addition Alton Highland Park Riverview, several tracts in Alhambra and Olive townships, and transfers to entities such as Sweetser Lumber Co. and Dorsey Lumber Co. with prices from 25 to 5,600 dollars and various fractional interests. Names include Gustave Kaufmann heirs and Amanda Daudermann among others.
An advertisement claims Dr Hobsons Eczema Ointment relieves and cures babies with skin eruptions. A testimonial from Mrs Strutter of Dubarie Iowa says their baby was completely cured after using one box. Available at druggists or by mail for 50 cents from Pfieffer Chemical Co.
An old advertisement touts Dr King’s New Life Pills as a prompt safe laxative for women. Mrs M C Dunlap of Lendill Tennessee testifies the pills helped her troubles greatly. Box price is 25 cents and is recommended by H R Muffendiek.
A fragment notes repairing broken glass or china with common aluminum and an old brown spoon over heat. It claims the cement holds when washed in hot water and suggests trying a Gall Want Ad for results almost certain for anything.
Illinois coal output reached 59 8815 226 short tons in 1912 with value $70 294 338, the highest on record. Bed No 6 supplied about 60 percent of production, with Bed No 5 and Bed No 2 also important. Output rose 11.6 percent from 1911 while fatalities declined to 159. West Virginia led in tonnage, but Illinois surpassed it in value due to closer markets and higher selling prices.
Readers are told Hall's Catarrh Cure can cure catarrh in all stages as a constitutional remedy. It claims to act on blood and mucous surfaces to destroy the disease's foundation and restore strength. Proponents offer $100 for any case it fails to cure and urge sending for testimonials. The ad also promotes Cheney products and Half a Pill for constipation.
