William Ziegler Dies in New York at 81
William Ziegler, famed baking powder magnate and real estate investor, died at his country home near Noroton Connecticut after a prolonged illness from injuries in a fall accident. Born September 1 1843 in Beaver County Pennsylvania, he built a fortune in baking powder and later expanded Brooklyn and Long Island property holdings. Funeral is set for Saturday at noon.
