Parmers' and Merchants' Bank Proposed for Troy
TroysCity may welcome a new bank as plans move forward with Dr F W Braner Edward H Klein and George C Morriss named as organizers for Parmers and Merchants State Bank of Troy with capital of 25000. Financier George Debuchenanna from Herculan eum Bo claims ample capital to back the venture while Illinois rules require local stock subscriptions worth at least 5000. The local signees deny active involvement beyond petitioning and say Debuchenanna handles the project, with his arrival anticipated after illness. The organizers express cautious optimism about a successful launch, noting no current friction with existing banks.
