The 125 mile line would traverse Patoka Keyesport Irishtown Sebastopol St Rose and Crawford county toward Terre Haute with coal rights secured and backing from Chicago financier E. Smith and St. Louis figures.

Funeral of Mrs Norbury in Troy Illinois
The funeral for Mary Elizabeth Norbury maiden Pfeiffer was held at 1 30pm last Sunday from the family residence in Cook's Addition Jerome s Catholic church conducted by Father A Weinecke. A large crowd including miners union and Rathbone Sisters attended the service at the cemetery. Mary Elizabeth Norbury born January 23 1885 in Brazil Indiana moved to East St Louis and later Troy. She married John Norbury July 28 1901 and they had two daughters Olivette Beulah Irene Josephine. She died after a brief illness at home with husband and family at her side. Her passing leaves husband, two children, a father, three sisters and two brothers who mourn deeply.
