Clarence H. Craner 58, of East Hampton, a World War II Pacific Theater veteran and tree surgeon foreman, died after a long illness at South Hampton Hospital. Survived by wife Anna Smith, daughter Sally Ann Craner, two sisters, and a brother. Funeral held in East Hampton with Rev. Samuel Davis officiating. burial at Springs, Long Island.

Funeral Monday at 9:30 a.m. from John H. Clinton Funeral Home and 10 a.m. from St. Marys Church with a Requiem High Mass. burial in St. Marys Cemetery. Her sister Miss Margaret S. Driscoll died in April. Survived by several nephews and a brother.
