Quarantine Imposed In Round Lake Over Polio Case
Round Lake residents 16 years old and younger were confined to homes after a second polio case in the area. An ordinance by the Round Lake Association bans leaving home except in family cars for two weeks. Health officials say the outbreak is subsiding in the upstate Glens Falls district with several new cases detected only now due to silent symptoms. Total polio cases for the season are listed by county across Washington, Saratoga, Warren, and Rensselaer counties.
