West Sand Lake Methodist fair plans annual auction

The eighth annual West Sand Lake Methodist Church fair and auction is set for tomorrow with booths offering candy preserves crafts plants and Christmas gifts. Highlights include a foreign and domestic sports exhibition, cars from area dealers, a continuous kids movie rides games and a used housewares auction led by George Cinperly. Special display of fossils and models from Joseph Pickell and Harold Wayne with items on loan from the State Museum.

John’s Church to Dedicate New Parish House in Ceremony

The ceremony will begin with a vestry blessing and dedication sermon by Bishop Barry, as the cornerstone is placed by Millhouse Gibson Jaytison and Jones. A procession from St John’s will proceed to Memorial Garden at 2 30 pm with officials and civic leaders attending. The new parish house adjoins Memorial Garden and the rest of the program includes hymns litany and remarks by Rev Gillespie and others.
