Troy Auto Club Elects Brahan Vice President
The Troy Automobile Club elected James M. Brahan as vice president replacing Earle J. Wiley who retires from the officers but stays on the board. Officers reelected include Henry Rickman as president Alexander J. Allan Jr. as secretary and Frank Miner as treasurer. Two new directors John W. Lyndh and Mr Miner join. the vice president also serves as Rensselaer County treasurer. The club backs driver education on Channel 17 with Albany and Schenectady Auto Clubs, underwriting programs not funded by the state. Membership rose to 5,400 with 570 new members in the last year, a gain of 2,000 in two years.

Frank Perry was found guilty of disorderly conduct and jailed six months but suspended his sentence for enlistment in the armed forces. Exhaust fumes caused death by monoxide in parked car
