Hess flight tale shows six peace terms offer to Britain

The British government released a two year old account of Rudolf Hess's 1941 flight to Scotland. It repeats Hess's claim that Hitler wanted to halt the war without imposing onerous demands and lists six peace terms including a British Empire free hand and a separate peace with Italy. Hess said he acted on a mission of humanity and spoke with Duke of Hamilton and British officials. He maintained there was no Hitler negotiation and that Britain should evacuate Iraq while Germany sought gains in Europe and with Russia.
