Relics Found in Elk Street Church Cornerstone
Historic artifacts recovered from a copper box set in the cornerstone of Old St. Peter's School Elk Street show Bibles newspapers and school papers plus a digest of Episcopal Canons. The items were revealed at the Albany diocese offices after a fire destroyed the building. The digest was presented to Rt Rev William C Doane when he became rector of St Peters Church.
