State Sued After Highway Accident

A cargo spill of meat and farm products in a highway crash prompted six claims against the state in the Court of Claims Albany. Plaintiffs include George Preister Sol Polacark Lena Polacaek of Saratoga Springs seeking damages for injuries vehicle and rental costs.

Death of Hoosick Falls resident John Kauch Mes at Home

Jokn T Kauch of Hoosick Falls died suddenly at his residence 4 Hurley Street Monday afternoon found by his wife at 3 pm. Coroner ruled death due to heart trouble from an illness. He was a Noble & Wood machine Co employee and a mixer in wood business, member of Hocowek Falls Aerie FDR and Polish National Association. Widow Catherine Revartan and Frances Nowak and Benjamn Albowis of Hoosick Falls plus brother Anton Mouch of Cohoes and several nieces and nephews survive. Funeral set for tomorrow at residence and Church of the Immaculate Conception in Hoosick Falls with interment at St Marcy's Cemetery.
